To The Foodies...
Calling all Foodies on my f-list:

I've got some tomato flavored cous cous and can't figure out what the hell to serve with it. Preferably a meat of some kind and a veggie of some kind and something not too hard to make since I'm only so-so in the cooking department. (it's weird, I usually either make something kinda crappy or totally awesome, very little in between)

Any suggestions? Recipes? Tips?

Dry herb rub chicken and bake in the oven and saute some veggies. Serve it over the cous cous?

Try cooking the chicken int he oven over the cous cous so the drippings get onto the cous cous and add more flavor. My wife does that with veggies and it is to die for with the drippings and seasoning mixing all together.

P.S. She cuts the chicken down the spine so it lays flat.

Marinate lamb chops in some honey and soy sauce for a few hours then roast until medium rare. Sautee up some garlic & spinach.

I'm probably too late, but for future reference...

Pork loin chops! Just saute 'em up in a pan with butter or olive oil, salt and pepper. Easy peasy.

As for the cous-cous, get yourself a lemon and some basil. When it's done cooking, squeeze some lemon juice over it and stir, add some lemon zest and some torn up pieces of basil, and you've got yourself some good eats.

Asparagus would go good with this, too.
